The Lung Transplant Foundation Mentorship Program would like to recognize Tammy Robinson, one of our longest-serving Mentors. Tammy received a double lung transplant at Indiana University Health Hospital in 2016 and became a Mentor with the Lung Transplant Foundation’s Mentorship Program in 2018. Since then, she has supported an incredible 14 Mentees—the most of any Mentor in our program. Two of the Mentees she supported went on to become Mentors themselves. What a lasting impact!
Tammy’s contributions will continue long after her time as a Mentor. Her willingness to share her experiences, offer support and help others navigate life after transplant is a true reflection of the heart of our Mentorship Program. The Mentees she has helped along the way shared the following feedback:
It was wonderful to have Tammy as my mentor. She is a very kind person and a great role-model.
“She was very helpful to me during every stage- before my transplant and after. Thank you for this opportunity!”
“Tammy was wonderful!” 🙂 🙂
Lung Transplant Foundation Mentorship Program is very grateful for the time, compassion, and encouragement she has shared with our transplant community. You are such an inspiration for making the most of our second chances.
