Josh is currently President, Team JAS, an industry leading aviation solutions provider headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. He has spent his career in aviation having served as an aircraft engine mechanic in the US Marine Corps before transitioning to civil aviation. His career has taken him to 61 countries supporting airlines, maintenance providers, and original equipment manufacturers, along with US and foreign militaries.
In 2023, his youngest son, Cameron, received a double lung transplant and a short 15 months later, Josh received his own double lung transplant. Those 2 events crystallized Josh’s purpose going forward. He currently serves on the Membership & Professional Standards Committee for OPTN and as an Ambassador for Life Gift in Ft. Worth, Texas. Organ donation awareness, education, and advocacy are his priority.
In July of 2026, as a member of the first ever US Armed Forces Team, Josh participated in his first Transplant Games of America winning a gold medal in ballroom dancing with his wife of 41 years, Charlotte, and 2 bronze medals in basketball and golf. Josh and Charlotte have 2 sons and 4 grandsons and currently reside in Sunset, Texas.
