Our mission is to improve the lives of lung transplant patients and their families.

Amplifying the Voice of the Lung Transplant Community

The advocacy committee develops and leads our organization's advocacy work, providing opportunities to make a difference on issues that uniquely impact the community we serve. All advocacy efforts are conducted in a non-partisan manner, free from specific political affiliations, with the sole aim of advancing lung transplant patients outcomes and removing barriers to progress.

Advocacy in Action: What We’re Doing Now

URGENT: Protect Fair Lung Allocation Protocols

The OPTN Board recently pushed through a major change to the Lung Continuous Allocation Score (CAS) without public input, stripping critical priority points from high-risk patients. Use your voice to protect patient equity.

Advocacy Matters!

Policy changes aren't just about paperwork; they are about people. Hear from our community members on how these advocacy priorities affect their daily lives.
