Lung transplant patients have the worst survival rate among commonly transplanted organ recipients. But there is a network of five leading lung transplant centers that are doing clinical studies which could translate directly to improved patient care and better long-term outcomes for lung transplant recipients. But they need help digging through the data; that’s where we come in. The Lung Transplant Foundation is funding statistical expertise to translate the data. Your support will help move critical research findings forward.

Jeff meets his donors family

Dr. Palmer talks about the grant

“I think the biggest thing I want the (donor) family to know is how eternally grateful Jeff and I are for their gift and that we will always honor it. Everything we are doing to pay it forward with the Lung Transplant Foundation would make her really proud.”
