Elisa earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Carolina University and is currently a Lung Transplant Coordinator at Duke University Medical Center. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and guiding individuals and their families through every stage of the lung transplant journey. Her clinical expertise, advocacy, and dedication have helped countless patients navigate the challenges of lung transplantation.

Elisa is passionate about supporting lung transplant recipients, promoting education and awareness, and improving the lives of those affected by advanced lung disease. She is honored to combine her professional experience with her commitment to serving the lung transplant community and advocating for patients and their families.

Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, Elisa enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and caring for her farm animals.
