Breathing Life into Lung Transplant Research!

Celebrating Jessica

Jessica Clark was never one to complain.

On her 10th birthday, Jessica lost her mother to chronic transplant rejection. Jessica carried on.

Then, almost three years later in 2003, Jessica was diagnosed with primary pulmonary hypertension, beginning a 10-year battle that inspired her to raise money and encourage organ donations.

Jessica died earlier this year. She was 22.

She was a board member of the Lung Transplant Foundation, and a huge supporter of Lungapalooza, an event that benefits the foundation’s research efforts.
